What do you do at OrthoManhattan?
I am the Administrative Assistant for Dr. Roy Davidovitch. I serve as a liaison between patients and the clinical staff. My job entails performing backend and receptionist duties to ensure a smooth transition for the patients from the moment they book the appointment over the phone until they come into our office and check out. Some of my duties include notifying patients of their insurance coverage, collecting registration forms, obtaining authorizations for radiological procedures, and answering any questions that may arise. Overall, my job is to make sure the patients are comfortable throughout their time with us.
What drew you to OrthoManhattan?
I have had six years of experience working as a Medical Receptionist, providing clerical and administrative support to medical providers. What attracted me to OrthoManhattan was the quality of care. All of the providers are dedicated to providing excellent service to their patients, which was very important to me. OrthoManhattan is home to some of the best doctors in the city.
What would you like every patient to know about OrthoManhattan?
I want every patient to see that they are genuinely in the best hands when they step into our office. The entire staff is committed to your well-being and assuring you get the best treatment and overall outcome.
What is your favorite part of your workday?
My favorite part of the workday is communicating with patients by phone or in person. I have met some of the kindest individuals in this role. I love it when patients share how much they enjoyed their time with us and felt welcomed.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
When I am not working, I love to travel, listen to new music, read, try out different restaurants, and spend time with my loved ones. I also love to take naps!
What is your favorite thing about being in New York?
As a native New Yorker, I can say that New York feels like home. Diversity is my favorite thing about living here. It’s a busy city, but you will never find anywhere more diverse, exciting, or energetic anywhere in the world, in my biased opinion.
