Alex Voigt received a Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado Boulder. During her time at Boulder she played soccer and served on the Board of Directors for the university’s Recreation Center.
Following graduation, she was employed by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai where she conducted clinical research trials for the Rehabilitation Bionics Program, focusing on stem cell, exoskeleton and platelet rich plasma therapies.
She continued her education at Columbia University, where she earned a Master of Science in Nursing. She is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner with American Nurse Credentialing Center. During her graduate studies, Alex worked with underserved populations in the five boroughs as a Registered Nurse at the Institute for Family Health.
